Guns of the Old West, Spring 2007

Hartford, Connecticut - April 10, 2007. U.S. Fire Arms Mfg. Co. (USFA) is featured in two articles in Guns of the Old West magazine spring of 07 issue. Beginning on page 55 is an article about the proliferation of guns paying tribute to the American west and John Wayne in particular. 2007 is the 100th birthday of John Wayne and both USFA and Winchester have announced guns commemorating the anniversary. USFA will produce two single action revolvers. The first is a special limited edition SA based on the gun and holster Wayne used in the movie Red River.

The second is copy of the engraved gun he carried in The Shootist. On page 72 begins an article on the USFA .22 Plinker by Bob Argan bright and his quest for the perfect .22caliber revolver.
