ANNOUNCE REVOLVERS TO COMMEMORATE DUKE’S 100TH BIRTHDAY

Revolvers to include John Wayne Red River D™ Classic and Centennial Editions

Hartford, CONNECTICUT - January 11, 2007.  Wayne Enterprises (Newport Beach, California) and  U.S. Fire Arms Mfg. Company (USFA) in Hartford, Connecticut have announced the release of several premium revolver projects to commemorate and celebrate the 100th anniversary of John Wayne’s birth in 2007.  These special edition firearms to be produced by USFA include the John Wayne Red River D™ Classic, and the John Wayne Centennial Edition.  Born in 1907, John Wayne made movies for over 50 years.  During that time, he appeared in more than 170 films, including a record-setting 142 in leading roles.

In honor of Duke, the John Wayne Red River D™ Classic will include USFA Single Action chambered in .45 Colt with an aged blue and mellow ivory stocks, with Wayne’s Red River D brand on the shovel head and gun frame. Serial numbered XXRR and RRXX, a numbered pair is possible. Each gun comes complete with a John Wayne Cartridge Belt and Gun Holster. Special Production will be limited and deliveries begin March of 2007.

The John Wayne Centennial Edition 1907-2007 will feature hand engraving.  These totally handmade one-of-a-kind presentation guns will celebrate 100 years of John Wayne.  The guns will be divided into 25 cased sets, one Blue and Color Case, one Nickel, both 5-1/2 inches in .45 Colt.   There will only be 50 single guns issued to complete the 100 units in 2007. These will be presented in a fitted case with all accessories including John Wayne Cartridge Belt and Gun Holster.

Just as with the single action six-shooters the Duke carried in all his famous Western movies, these beautiful revolvers are 100% made in Hartford, Connecticut, USA.  These special production guns are scheduled to begin shipping in March of 2007.  Prototype models will be on display at the Shot Show 2007, Booth 4473, Orlando, FL.
