Best Single Action Revolver Award

True West Award Best Single Action Revolver
For the 2nd year in a row , True West magazine awarded Best Single Action Revolver to US Fire-Arms.

“Best Built SAA” – Handloader Magazine

“…in my opinion, the best built SAA sixgun available today. The USFAMC single actions are very impressive, and I feel they offer the straightest, best fitting, finest finished, most accurate SAA-style sixgun available today. …when we look at the competition or the cost of an antique Colt, the USFAMC guns are, no question, a true bargain!” – Brian Pearce, Handloader Magazine.

Single Action Revolver –
an American Legend for Cowboys,
Soldiers, Sheriffs and Outlaws

US Fire-Arms produces historically accurate Old West Single Action Revolvers. USFA is the only gunmaker in Hartford.

We made a commitment to build the Single Action Revolver “under the Blue Dome” in Colt’s original factory. That commitment carries through in our effort to continue to produce here in Hartford - the best, most genuine, most historically accurate fire arms and Single Action Revolvers in the world – in our new state of the art factory in Hartford, Connecticut.

The Single Action was the handgun of the Old West, and sheriffs, cowboys, soldiers, civilians, and outlaws turned the Single Action Revolver into an American legend.

William B. Mason was the Inventor
of Colt’s Single Action

This amazing fact was found in the archive “under the Blue Dome” in Patent # 158,957.

USFA maintains the Douglas F. Donnelly collection, the largest Colt Archive of original documents which contain the original Ledger Books of the Founding of Sam Colt’s company in 1855. The entire Civil War history including shipments to the U.S. Government, detailed production history and a manufacturing and engineering archive allows us to look back into history of the Single Action Revolver.

Some of the finest Single-Action Revolvers ever made.

“New firearms companies come and go. When the product is very good, they tend to stay. U.S. Fire Arms has been with us for about 10 years and its products are absolutely outstanding. …it is obvious that U.S. Fire Arms is a company that builds some of the finest single-action revolvers ever made. They are dedicated to it.” – Shooting Illustrated, July 2003.
