Matched Set of Omni Specials A project of the USFA Custom Gun Shop, these elaborate pistols were specially modified with frame contours lightened; gates and bell areas of the frame are much reduced to provide the layout for the engraver. The engraving pattern is typical of 19th century engravers following the Germanic tradition. Interlocking heavy scroll with a fine stippeled background. The practice of making special guns with modifications out of the normal production series was not common and was done only by special request.
